Height restrictions and square footage limitations drove this Karnak-designed 3rd story addition. Without disturbing the entire basement suite and 50% of the main floor we added three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a new kitchen.

After interviewing six contractors we were most comfortable with Mitch and decided to engage Karnak to add a second level to our rancher and renovate our main floor. Mitch and Kirsty didn’t disappoint, through both the construction phase and the post completion support. During construction Mitch made several practical suggestions, identified potential problems with the architectural drawings and sourced products that were not readily available anywhere in western Canada, that both saved money and improved the final product. Post completion Mitch ensured that the inevitable deficiencies by subcontractors were addressed promptly and satisfactorily. Even years after completion Karnak is readily available to help with emergencies and to offer suggestions for ongoing home improvements. I believe this ongoing support reflects Karnak’s integrity, desire to development long term relationships with their clients and pride in providing a quality service and product. Thanks Mitch and Kirsty for your help.","The Single Best Decision We Made","Jenn and Andy Mundie","“Thank you, Karnak Pro Builders, for the outstanding job you and your team did on the construction of our new home. Throughout construction, you offered a building process that was not only professional, but your attention to details were straight forward and honest. Karnak worked with us extensively at the outset to ensure that their bid reflected the actual work needed to be performed. Our project finished on time and on budget and your service before, during and 1 year post construction has been admirable. We will definitely engage Karnak Pro Builders on our next construction project and look forward to working with them again in the future.”","Outstanding Builders","Paul and Caroline","“Working with Karnak Pro Builders was a great experience for my family and myself. Mitchell’s experience and expertise was obvious when it came to problem solving and the quality of workmanship. He created a relationship with us that made us feel like we could go to him with any issue big or small. In the 3 years since we finished our build we are still able to go to Mitchell with any questions we may have. If you are looking for great value for your budget I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Karnak again.”","3 Years Later Still Loving Our Home","Sibeal Foyle","“Mitchell Baker of Karnak Pro Builders built me my dream painting studio. After receiving three quotes that ranged from the exorbitant to the ridiculous, Mitchell arrived on site, studied the plans, listened to our concerns and assessed the costs in a manner that was both practical and within our budget. He held true to his quote and throughout the building of this small but complex building, proved to be a man with experience, common sense and exceptional problem solving skills. He has a crew of hard working and skilled craftsmen, backed up by his partner Kirsty who kept a watchful eye on all the costs and was upfront and honest in all matters. Together, they made the experience enjoyable and affordable, we were extremely pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend Karnak for any future building projects.”","Creating My Dream Studio","gallery",[276,277,278,279,280,281,282,283,284],"Latest Projects","Browse through some of Karnak Pro Builders' most recent projects, including new home builds, home renovations and project management.",{"_22":323,"_193":324,"_36":325,"_288":298},{"_22":319,"_193":320,"_36":321,"_288":298},{"_22":315,"_193":316,"_36":317,"_288":303},{"_22":310,"_193":311,"_36":312,"_288":313},{"_22":305,"_193":306,"_36":307,"_288":308},{"_22":300,"_193":301,"_36":302,"_288":303},{"_22":295,"_193":296,"_36":297,"_288":298},{"_22":291,"_193":292,"_36":293,"_288":289},{"_22":285,"_193":286,"_36":287,"_288":289},"/portfolio-item/19th/",{"_124":287,"_196":290,"_198":64},"19th Street","caption","New Home Builds, North Vancouver","2021/07/19th-st.-800-550x550.jpg","/portfolio-item/beachview/",{"_124":293,"_196":294,"_198":64},"Beachview","2021/07/rsz_1img_2132_3_4_fused-550x550.jpg","/portfolio-item/bayridge-art-studio/",{"_124":297,"_196":299,"_198":64},"Bayridge Art Studio","New Home Builds, West Vancouver","2021/07/art-studio-800-karnak-550x550.jpg","/portfolio-item/bayridge/",{"_124":302,"_196":304,"_198":64},"Bayridge","Home Renovations, West Vancouver","2021/07/bayridge-800-karnak-550x550.jpg","/portfolio-item/cypress-2/",{"_124":307,"_196":309,"_198":64},"Cypress II","New Home Builds, Whistler","2021/07/cypress-II-main-800-550x550.jpg","/portfolio-item/mt-seymour-parkway-restoration/",{"_124":312,"_196":314,"_198":64},"Mt.
